There’s not much time left in 2011 and it’s time to start looking ahead to 2012. I love to feel like everything is organized and I’m in control so one thing that helps me is to use a calendar. At the beginning of every year I mark on the calendar all the important events, holidays, and occasions that I already know about so it’s not a monthly chore to fill in. With a quick glance at the calendar I can check to see who I need to purchase cards for or if I need to carve out some extra money in our budget to attend an event.
