At just barely over 2 years old, Cupcake is already showing signs that she’s ready to move out of her crib and into a big girl bed. I’ve already noticed her flinging her legs over the railing and trying to hoist herself up so it’s only a matter of time before she makes the leap.
Cupcake’s current crib is a convertible model, but somehow the conversion kit for it got damaged so we need a new one of those and will need a new mattress. Based on the size of our rooms and the amount of stuff we’ve accumulated I’ve started considering other options than keeping the convertible crib.
I was recently turned onto Raymour & Flanigan and have found so many options that could work for the bed dilemma while at the same time increasing our storage space. Just check out the Tommi Twin Storage Bed that would provide additional space for books or toys on the shelves behind the bed and space for clothes in the drawers underneath!
Another possibility my husband and I have tossed around is moving the girls into one bedroom. I’m not sure if this will work while Cupcake still takes naps, but it’s definitely a possibility and one way for us to gain an entire bedroom back. We don’t have room for the girls to each have a full sized bed, plus dressers, and room to play so the Wrenn Twin Over Full Storage Bunk Bed would definitely fit the bill.
With so many different options available, I’m not quite sure what we ultimately decide but Raymour & Flanigan definitely has me covered when it’s time to make the big decision.
